Stanford Avenue continues to transition to a WESTEM school, integrating wellness, environment, science, technology, engineering, and math into instruction. Stanford Avenue has two WESTEM Fairs each year. One is held in the Fall and one in the Spring season. The Spring WESTEM contains a science fair for kids interested in doing an experiment and providing a mural to represent it. UC Davis Cal Fresh works with Stanford Avenue in many ways. They help with our monthly PAWS Playground fun, provide nutrition and garden lessons, and support our WESTEM nights. Organizations like Roplast, Recology, Oroville Parks and Rec, and DWR are examples of support systems that have participated in our WESTEM Nights.
