Meet Mrs. McGowan:

"I did my student teaching at Stanford Avenue and loved it so much that I’m still here 26 years later! I’ve taught a variety of grades and currently am the specialist in the Paws Room.  A child having a difficult time during the school day gets to come take a break in the Paws Room. It’s truly a blessing to connect with all students, and especially those whose day I get to make better by connecting with them one-on-one in the Paws Room. When I’m not at work I can be found enjoying what Mother Nature has to offer.  If it’s summer I’m on a wakeboard, and if it’s winter I’m on a snowboard, & if I’m not on a board I’m cheering at a soccer game for any of my 3 kids ages 18, 17, & 15. "
