Over the weekend, Alex McFall completed his Eagle Scout project at the Wyandotte Academy with the help of Scout Troop 29 and community helpers. The project was focused on re-landscaping the parking lot islands in the west parking lot including adding new slopes, rocks, plants, and bark. Thank you Alex and Troop 29!

Dear Parents:
In order to ensure we receive full State and Federal funding for all students, all families need to complete an Alternative Income Form. All students that still need to turn in a completed form will have one sent home this week. We ask that you please complete the form, sign, date and return to the students teacher/secretary as soon as possible.

OCESD Teachers, Classified Staff, and Administrators met for a day of team-building, important messages from Superintendent Holtom, and training on student behavior strategies and homeless youth support.
After removing the old parking lot, correcting the underlying issues, and re-asphalting and striping the parking lot this summer, the Stanford Avenue Elementary Parking lot will be fresh and ready to go for the first day of school!

Our community is mourning the tragic loss of Amadeus Miller Ramos.
The Axiom Youth Center is hosting times over the next couple of weeks for anyone affected by this tragedy or the tragedy of other recent teen deaths to get Emotional, Mental, and Spiritual support.
Please join us on Tuesday, July 25th from 2-3:30 pm or Tuesday, August 1st from 2-3:30 pm at the Axiom 1420 Myers Street. There will be mental health professionals and safe volunteers to help and support you during this time of great need.
