NEW HEALTH COVERAGE OPPORTUNITIES & ENROLLMENT ASSISTANCE
(2016-17 & 2017-18 School Years)
Senate Bill 75 expanded the affordable Medi-Cal coverage to all children, regardless of their immigration status. This means that low-income, undocumented children can receive full Medi-Cal benefits. Services include: annual checkups, regular doctor visits, vaccinations, mental health care, and dental care/treatment. Many of these services are provided at no cost. Eligible children can enroll today. Families can apply in-person at their local county human services office, online, over the phone, with a mail-in application, or at a local health center.
