Over the weekend, Ian James completed his Eagle Scout project at Stanford Avenue Elementary with the help of Scout Troop 29 and community helpers. The project was rebuilding two outdoor classroom spaces in the Stanford Avenue wildness area. Thank you Ian and Troop 29!

Good evening families! Please join us tonight for a fun night of community connections, educational opportunities, and a free hot dog dinner at the Community Education Workshop. The Workshop will be held this evening at five-thirty at the Oroville Convention Center on Myers Street. The Oroville Boys and Girls Club invites you to hang out with your friends for a chill time this summer at the Oroville High School Teen Center!
The Teen Center is open to all incoming freshmen and students in Grades 9-12.
Dive into water sports, gaming, outdoor games, teen nights, internships, work experience, and tournaments. We'll also venture out on exciting field trips like camping, hiking, movies, art studio visits, water park adventures, park trips, and Forebay Fridays.
Plus, enjoy a daily snack while hanging out in our cool, air-conditioned classrooms.
The Teen Center is located at 1876 Bridge Street and is open from 1:00 pm-6:00 pm Mondays-Fridays.

Get ready to mark your calendars for July 15th-19th for Princess Dance Camp at Strive Dance and Performing Arts! It's going to be an amazing experience for your little ones filled with lots of joy and fun!
The online registration for the camp will be open on Saturday, June 1st, 2024.

Don't miss your chance to enroll them in this limited availability camp where it's first come first serve!
This camp is specially designed for ages 3-6 and is themed all Princess! Your kids will have a blast learning the art of ballet and basic tumbling while feeling like royalty every day!
Attire needed should include a leotard, tights, and a knee-length or above skirt.
Ballet shoes can be found at Walmart, Target, Amazon, or Dance Away.
We'll provide crafts such as making crowns, wands, and other princess-themed activities that will keep your kids engaged and entertained throughout the camp. Plus, a yummy snack will be served every day, along with a small performance number to show parents on the last day of camp.
The best part? Students will get a visit from a guest princess each day! What could be more exciting than that? So, let your kids indulge in this magical experience and create memories that will last a lifetime!
